Value To The Chain
At AgroFair we add our own value to the chain. We know what the customer wants on our end!
Positioned as a service provider between grower and customer, we can keep an eye on the process as a whole. From quality standards to packaging, communication and product identity, we can act solution-oriented and unburden our partners so they can focus on what they do best: the production of 100% organic, fair and flavourful Italian produce.
Each link in the chain carries its own responsibility. With AgroFair acting as chain manager the responsibilities are clear. Paired with effective communication and direct lines, speed of action is ensured!
Product Quality In Italy
The very best of Italian flavour
In all our activities across the globe, AgroFair considers it its duty to make a positive contribution to people and nature. Once again: sustainability is key. Making wonderful, traditionally farmed 100% organic Italian products available to a wider public – that is definitely a positive contribution!
But why stop at that? Because after the table has been cleared we will still be on a continuous pursuit of measures that contribute to a better product and better working conditions. Capice?
Continuity and quality. Nothing less.
BIA consortium
The organic products come from the cooperatives, consortiums and growing companies that together form Solidade Italiano.
The organic products come from the cooperatives, consortiums and growing companies that together form the brand Solidale Italiano. BIA forms the next link in the chain. This consortium functions as process manager and harvest coordinator and governs administration and quality control. BIA is our partner for organic fresh fruit and vegetables.
For over twenty years, all members of BIA (no exceptions!) have applied themselves to organic farming, making a conscious choice for environment-friendly farming techniques and focussing on environmental and social awareness.
Being in close proximity to both the traders and the local trade, the BIA consortium warrants product quality in Italy, wielding transparency and certification methods to guarantee that what is brought to our tables offers the very best of Italian flavour, tradition, sunshine and honest hard work. A little bit of Italy on your plate.
With regard to quality control BIA has an agronomist in charge of control and production planning, working in close coordination with various agronomists farms. BIA performs more than 4.000 control analyses a year. Their microscopes are not only aimed at the products, but also at the soil, the leaves, roots and fertilizers.
